• Thursday, Gyro Park at 7 p.m., Kootenay Savings Music in the Park presents the Jason Thomas Group. Thomas returns to the stage as the head of a country & country rock band for an evening of old and new familiar tunes. Toonie donation requested.

• Tuesday through Saturday, Rossland Miners’ Hall at 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. for the Gold Fever Follies.

Film

• Sunday Royal Theatre, 2 p.m. for The Grand Seduction, a Canadian comedy film premiered at the 2013 Toronto Film Fest. Residents of a once-thriving Newfoundland coastal town are having trouble finding a way to make a living since the collapse of the fishing industry. Also showing Tue-Thurs at 7 p.m.
