Coroner identifies accident victim

Rossland's Keith Edgar Erwin has been identified as the victim of the single car accident last Sunday

The B.C. Coroners Service has released the identity of the victim of a single-vehicle accident in the Malde Creek area near Rossland on Sunday.

Rossland’s Keith Edgar Erwin, 61, was the lone occupant of the GMC pickup truck that left the rural service road south of the city.

According to RCMP reports, Erwin’s vehicle failed to navigate a turn on the snowy road and went down an embankment.

There were no witnesses to the accident and the Coroners Services is continuing its investigation into the matter.
