One man is dead after his car drove off the highway near Salmo on Sunday.
According to an RCMP release, the 72-year-old man, who was a Salmo resident, was found deceased after he went off Highway 3 about four kilometres east of the village.
Investigators are still working to determine what caused the accident, although RCMP said road conditions were likely not a factor.
No name has been released at this time.
