The search continued Friday morning for an overdue skier at Red Mountain Resort.
At approximately 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, the Trail and Greater District RCMP Detachment responded to a
report of a 67-year-old area man who had been expected home earlier in the day.
In a press release, the RCMP said the skier is believed to be physically fit and have extensive experience in the ski area.
Rossland and District Search and Rescue, assisted by members of South Columbia Search and Rescue, initiated a ground search.
The search was suspended overnight but resumed at first light on Friday.
