Anna Justine Zol passed away peacefully at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital on March 29, 2016. She was born on July 4, 1929 in Trail.
Anna was the consummate mother doting on her children and grandchildren and was always willing to help others in need where she could. Anna was a wonderful cook and baker, producing all the savoury traditional Italian dishes and baking the most delicious chiffon cakes for birthdays. She loved to impart her culinary skills to any who were willing to learn.
Anna is survived by her daughter Bonnie (Gary) Crouse, her son Roger (Linda) and her grandson Darryl (Niki). She was predeceased by her husband Aldo, her brother Joe Rossi and her granddaughter Stacey.
She loved her church and the church family with whom she celebrated her faith. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 10:30 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish with Father Bart van Roijen, Celebrant. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Bill Clark of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
