Antonio (Tony) DeLaurentiis, age 88, of Trail B.C., died peacefully Sunday night, January 22, 2017. Born January 17, 1929 in Altino, Italy, he was the son of the late Bernardino DeLaurentiis and Carmina (Scutti) DeLaurentiis.

Tony retired after working at Cominco for 29 years. He was a master stone and brick mason and his quality work is on display at many homes and commercial builds in Salmo, Trail and Nelson. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Maria DeLaurentiis, along with two children; Enzo (Lyse) DeLaurentiis of Kelowna, B.C. and Carmela (Kevin) Craig of Nelson, B.C., 4 grandchildren; Danielle (Derek) Como, Brandon DeLaurentiis, Coleman Craig, Courtney Craig, his brother Amedeo DeLaurentiis of Salmo, and many other loving nieces, nephews and relatives. Tony was predeceased by his brother Domenic DeLaurentiis.

A Prayer Vigil will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 7:00 pm at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, Trail, B.C. and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish at 10:30 am, on Friday, January 27, 2017 with Father Bart van Roijen, Celebrant. Entombment will follow at the Nelson Mausoleum at Nelson Memorial Park Cemetery. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
