It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Carolyn Rose Price, (Nona), taken from us on March 26, 2015 at the age of 80.
Carolyn is survived by her children; David, Lori (Mike), Christine (Dan), grandchildren; Tricia (Rick), Jeremy, Sara (Mike), Jason (Karen) and Corey (Samantha), great-grandchildren; Tyler, Dylan, Connor, Sophie, Aeden and Rowyn as well as many extended family and dear friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Edward and Florence Ivison, her brother Fred, sister Myra, husband Carl and many others. All together again as a family.
Everyone knew Carol loved her family more than life itself. A devoted mother, her family was everything to her. She was the most loving, sweetest, caring and nurturing person. Anyone that knew her loved her to pieces. She used those nurturing ways and opened a bed and breakfast in her family home at Red Mountain (Carolyn’s B&B), now known as Carolyn’s Corner. Her last year, she was the one being cared for by family, friends and her wonderful neighbours. She taught us well. She faced her illness with the same gentle nature, never complaining and more worried how everyone else was doing. She will be dearly missed.
Memorial Services will take place on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 1:00pm at St. Anthony’s Anglican Church in Trail. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ is entrusted with arrangements.
