Caputo: Catherine Marie (nee Mazzei) – It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing Catherine on August 16, 2010 at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. She was born in Trail, BC on April 23, 1960.
Cathy had one passion in her life – her family. She was a wife, mother, daughter, cousin, and friend. Cathy devoted her time to taking care of her only daughter Shailyn and her loving husband David. She also enjoyed going for coffee with her girlfriends, spending time at Christina Lake, and shopping. Cathy was employed at Zellers.
Cathy always met every situation with a smile and laugh, and was always there to lend an ear or give a big hug wherever or whenever needed. Her light will be with us always.
Left to grieve Cathy is her husband of 21 years David, and her daughter Shailyn; mother and father Rocco and Patsy Mazzei; her brother Louis, sister Brenda, and niece Italia; her in-laws Micky and Marica Caputo; sisters-in-law Michelle (Peter) Fahlman, and Lisa (Arnold Palm) Caputo; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Father Gabriel will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Bill Clark of Personal Alternative Funeral Services “Carberry’s Chapel” is entrusted with arrangements.
