It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, nonna and bisnonna Clelia, who left us peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Clelia leaves behind dear daughters Licia Priddy (Dave) and Laura Lane (Gord). Clelia was a proud grandmother of Amanda Bowron (Brett), Michael Priddy (Jen), Michelle Priddy (Dan) and Kerra Lane (Andrew) as well as her only great-grandchild Emma Bowron. Survived also by her dear sister Maria Faveta of Italy and sisters-in-law Silvia, Lucia and Bertilla. Clelia leaves behind many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her loving husband Giovanni Binotto and eight brothers.

Clelia came to Canada from Treviso, Italy in 1955 and settled in Trail with Giovanni to raise their two daughters. She was a long-time member of the Sisters of Colombo. Family and friends always came first. She enjoyed her garden, church and in her later years bowling with her friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 11:00 am at “Carberry’s Chapel”, 1298 Pine Ave., Trail, BC with Father Jim McHugh, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Jordan Wren of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.

As an expression of sympathy, donations in Clelia’s memory can be made to the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital Health Foundation at 1200 Hospital Bench Road, Trail, BC, V1R 4M1 or online at www.kbrhhealthfoundation.ca
