The family of Darlene Wright of Fruitvale is saddened to announce her sudden passing on April 3, 2017. Darlene was born in Trail on March 22, 1947.
Darlene is survived by her son Bill McKenzie, daughters Amber and Christa Funnell and grandchildren Blade, Bry, Risa and Jacie. Her treasured grandchildren meant the world to her - bringing her so much joy and purpose.
Darlene will be dearly missed by her numerous nieces and nephews, relatives, dearest friends and all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her parents, Sarah and Art Wright, her brothers, Don, John and Ed and her infant son Dean.
Darlene was totally devoted to her family and lived life to the fullest. She loved to laugh and was always ready to lend a helping hand or ear to those in need. Of course, her passion for baking was appreciated by the many recipients of her creations.
