REDIVO, Elena Regina of Trail, passed away peacefully at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital on October 23, 2013.
Elena was born on September 27, 1919 in Brugniera, Udine, Italy. She married Enrico on October 27, 1946, and three years later they emigrated to Canada. Elena enjoyed almost 70 years of a great marriage to Rico, as a devoted wife and homemaker. She loved camping and over the years, picnics with many friends, and travelling to Italy and England to see her family.
She is survived by her husband Rico, and her brother Eugenio (Anni) Maluta and many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 10:30 am at St. Anthony’s Parish with Father Jim McHugh, Celebrant.
Entombment will take place at Mountain View Cemetery, in Rossland following the service. Bill Clark of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
