Laarz, Elsie May, of Castlegar, BC and previously of Trail, BC, passed away peacefully at the age of 89 on October 6, 2010 at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. She was born in Lancashire, England on April 25, 1921.
Elsie is survived by her two sons: Gordon (Phyllis) of Prince George, BC, and Terry (Lil) of Castlegar, BC. She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law Jessie of Trail. Elsie was predeceased by her husband Gordon, her parents and brother and sister.
There will be no service by request. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery at a later date. Al Grywacheski of Personal Alternative Funeral Services “Carberry’s Chapel” is entrusted with arrangements.
