Elouise Simms of Pitt Meadows, B.C., went to be with her Lord suddenly on December 11, 2013 at age 44 years. She is survived by her beloved husband Michael, her children Tanner, Nicolas, and Amanda, her mother Libby Nelson, her sisters Pam and Caroline, and a large and loving extended family. She was predeceased by her father Dick. A Celebration of Life was held Monday.
Elouise was raised in Fruitvale, and graduated from Crowe High in 1987. She earned her teaching certificate at Whitworth College in Spokane in 1992. She taught in Christian Schools in Prince George and Prince Rupert. Elouise married her most loved and loving husband Michael in 1996. She was a “Happy Homemaker and homeschool mum.” Elouise enjoyed scrapbooking, cruising, and especially her church and all their outreach opportunities. She lived her faith sharing her generous spirit with family, friends and all she met.
