Eunice Elizabeth Topliff passed away peacefully with her family by her side on February 16, 2015 at Rosewood Village. She was born on August 11, 1927 in Quesnel, BC.
Eunice came to Rossland as a young nurse and began what would be a long and fulfilling career at the Mater Misericordiae Hospital. She met and married Eugene (Whiz) and they raised their family in the community they loved. She has been a valued part of healthcare in our community. Eunice also enjoyed and truly valued her volunteer work with the Canadian Red Cross and the Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Shop.
Eunice is survived by her three daughters; Arlene (Hugo), Monica, Lenore (Dennis), her two sons; Mark and Stuart as well as her 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Eunice is predeceased by her husband Eugene (Whiz) and daughter Marilyn Baldwin.
As an expression of sympathy, please consider a donation in her name to the Rossland Thrift Shop. These donations may be dropped off at the Rossland Post Office.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Mountain View Cemetery with Father Bart van Roijen, Celebrant.
