April 11, 1920 - July 8, 2018
Gertrude (Trudy) Hall was born on April 11, 1920 and passed away on July 8, 2018 at the age of 98.
Trudy is survived by her daughters Linda Chymko (Keith), Fern Hall (Randy), step-daughter Mabel Bomben and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her sister, Jean Scribner.
She was predeceased by her husband Alvin, sons Terrance and Kenny, step-daughter Faye (Mimi) McDonald, grandson Gordie Murray and siblings Lee, Grace, Kate, Merle, Dorothy and John.
Trudy served in the Royal Canadian Navy as a nurse before settling in Trail and joining her husband in Hall Printing Company. She enjoyed Arrow Lakes, Gyro Park and Bingay Bay with her family. Her cinnamon buns and baking were family favorites and she loved to cook.
She spent her last 14 years at Rosewood Village. Her family would like to thank everyone at Rosewood who cared for Trudy with such compassion and kindness making Rosewood such a wonderful place to live.
In respect of Trudy's wishes, there will be no service. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
