HARPER, Glyn John Owain ‘Taffy’ – Was born on November 18, 1941 in Trail and passed away on September 10, 2014.
He is predeceased by his parents Idris and Gwen, and survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Lillian, daughter Carolyn (Adam), mother-in-law Teresa Moro, sister Wendy (Joe) Rosa, nephews Stephen and Michael and their families, sister in law Doreen (Geoff) Searle, niece Jennifer and cousin Beryl (Hal) Jones.
Glyn played for the University of Victoria hockey team, and then returned to Trail to work for Teck Cominco after 36 years, retiring in 2006. He remained active in minor hockey and little league. He enjoyed slow pitch, football pools, puckster golf tournaments. He was a proud member of both the Rossland Oldtimers and the Rossland and Birchbank Country Club.
