'Gordie' was born on September 27, 1950 in Trail, BC and was suddenly taken from us on February 3, 2018 in Oasis, BC.
He is predeceased by his brothers Wellesley Jr. and Blair, his father Wellesley and his special uncle Blaine.
He is survived by his loving wife and soulmate Val, his two sons Boyd and Greg (Kris), two daughters Treena (James) and Carrie, his adored grandchildren Wyatt, Trinity and Jessica, his mother Rita, sister Bev (Lix), nieces Tammy and Lori (and her son Forest).
Gordie loved his cars, his Oilers and the Blue Jays. He dedicated his working life to Cominco.
Cremation has taken place, Gwen Ziprick of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
