October 7, 1922 - July 16, 2018
Dr. Jack G. Peck passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on July 16, 2018. Jack was born in Budapest, Hungary on October 7th, 1922.
Jack leaves his loving wife Fe, his children George (Maria), Jack (Linda), Paula and Jacob as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Jack was predeceased by his daughter Peggie Werbeski (Rick), and his first wife, Margaret Peck.
Jack graduated from Medical School from the University of Alberta in 1947. Jack and his family moved to Rossland in 1951 and then Trail in 1954. He dedicated many years of service as a doctor/gynaecologist in Trail and the Lower Mainland.
When Jack was not practicing medicine, he would spend his weekends at Red Mountain or the golf course. He was also an avid sailor, played numerous musical instruments and enjoyed designing and building his home and sailboat.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date in the Lower Mainland.
