John William (Bud) Blatchford, 87, of Sechelt BC died Sunday January 22nd, 2017. Bud passed away at home with his loving wife May at his side. Bud is survived by his wife May and their children Norman (Magdelena), Dennis (Nancy), Dena Nicolby, (Bruce), Marty (Barb) and Robert (Donna) as well as many grand children and great grand children. Bud was also predeceased by his son’s David and Barry. Bud owned many businesses in the Trail area including Rock Island Mohawk and The Discount Centre, and the Beaver Valley New and Used store. Bud will be remembered for his love of family and friends. Bud and May had an open door policy at their home in Beaver Falls. On any holiday you could expect friends, family and any one else in need of some family love. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Bud received a beautiful send off at a private service at the home of his daughter Dena in Half Moon Bay on the Sunshine coast. In lieu of donations or flowers, please pay forward a good deed, on behalf of Bud, to someone in need as he did so many times in his wonderful life.
