It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Aunt Celia on

March 23rd, 2015 who had just recently celebrated her 95th birthday.

Celia is predeceased by her husband Lorne (1989) and their precious daughter Theresa (1966) who was with them for six years.

In addition she was predeceased by her three sisters: Jenny DeVito, Emma Trevisan and Mamie Torresan and four brothers: Carlo, Setty, Fonzie and Ky D’Arcangelo.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews who were all very fond of her.

Celia attended business college in Trail and went on to work as a secretary at The Company Store prior to the arrival of her daughter. In later years she worked as a receptionist at the Medical Associates Clinic. She had a very caring way with the clients and was well respected by doctors and patients alike.

Celia enjoyed golfing, cross country skiing and swimming at Gyro. She loved walking and encountered several of Trail’s citizens during her epic walks. She became the matriarch of her family and supported all family members when needed. She will be sorely missed.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 1st, 2015 at 10:30am from Holy Trinity Catholic Parish in Trail with interment immediately following at Mountainview cemetery. Gwen Ziprick of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements. You are invited to leave a personal message of condolence by visiting the family’s online register at www.myalternatives.ca

As an expression of sympathy, your donations in care of St. Michael’s Catholic School in Trail for the Theresa Kerr Scholarship Fund would be a wonderful tribute to Celia.
