Passed away at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital on March 28, 2017 at the age of 73. He was born July 10, 1943 in Trail, BC.
Len took pride in his 30+ years working at Teck Metals, and his time spent involved with the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets. He was quite a history buff, and loved travelling, specifically cruising, reading, and anything to do with trains.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Janice Hartin, daughter Cathy, step children; Peter (Jodie) Dahl and Tanya Perkins, best friend Keith (Theresa) Edmondson and their family, brothers-in-law; Greg (Donna) Richards and Wayne (Betty Anne),
sister-in-law Germine Kinsey, 4 grandchildren,
1 great-granddaughter, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Len was predeceased by his parents Henry and Catherine Hartin, son Gregory Joseph,
2 brothers, brother-in-law Roy Shaw, and uncle Joe Staite.
At Len’s request there will be no service. Interment at Mountain View Cemetery will take place at a later date. Alexandra Butts of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be
