It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sister, mother, grandmother and aunt, Lil Amero. She was born in Port Arthur, Ontario on May 26, 1960.
Lil enjoyed playing cards on Friday nights with family and friends. She was so grateful to those that always visited her.
She will be greatly missed by her children Jamie (Kim), Amanda (James), her grandchildren Ryan, Hailey, Taylor, Brayden, Abbi and Devon, her sister Frances (known as Fritz) and Chris Rhodes, Christopher (Lindy), Deanna (Maciej and Connor). Her brother John (Sue) Turco, Angie, Rick, Tristan and Isabella Meakes, Julie, Chris, Maddy and Liam Dilling, her brother Sylvano (Lori) and Nicki Turco, Jenny, Erik and Cohen Green.
She was predeceased by her parents Alfredo and Ornella Turco, as well as numerous aunts and uncles.
A special thank you to all management and staff (so many to mention) at Rosewood Village, for their excellent care and compassion shown to Lil throughout the years, and especially the last three months.
By Lil’s request cremation has taken place, and a small private family graveside service was held this morning. Alexandra Butts of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
