Mark, Lorne Russell – April 10 1921- September 9 2014.
Lorne was born and raised in Trail, BC. He was hired by Cominco (now Teck Cominco) at the age of 16 as their office boy and retired in 1985 as a purchasing agent. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a Legionnaire.
Lorne is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Dorothy. Many thanks to the staff of SPH Extended care unit 2 who provided care and comfort.
Lorne had a good life and will be missed.
Funeral mass will be held on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 1:00pm at St. Elizabeth Church, 10030 Third Street, Sidney, BC. Reception to follow. Please, no flowers.
