Malito (nee Mauro), Luisa – of Trail passed away peacefully on September 15, 2014 at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. She was born on March 12, 1931 in Grimaldi, Cosenza, Italy.
Luisa immigrated to Canada on May 31, 1956 and married Arnaldo Malito in 1959.
She is predeceased by her husband Arnaldo, her parents Giuseppe and Teresa Mauro, her brother Angelo Mauro, and her sisters Sylvia Vercillo and Idealma Nigro.
Luisa is survived by her daughter Maria (Darrell) St. Denis, her sons John (Judy) Malito and Joe Malito, her grandchildren Dustin (Kristina), Kyle (Sarah), Travis, Kayla (Jeff), Alyssa, two great-grandchildren Jack and Sofia, her sisters Maria Ciardullo and Annetta Rose as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 10:30 am with Father Bart van Roijen, Celebrant. Entombment will take place at the Trail Mausoleum. Bill Clark of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
