Margaret ‘Marg’ Alice Conn was born on June 23, 1928 in Benalto, Alberta and passed away in Trail on August 23rd, 2015.
She is predeceased by her husband Joe Conn, daughter Brenda Hryhor, son in law Dale Pedersen and grandson Adam Huston.
She is survived by her children; Kelly (Maureen) Conn, Melinda (Al Lewis) Conn, Rhonda Conn, Casey (Linne) Sovran, Jennifer (Ovi) Marcon, James Conn, Donna (Randy) Huston, son-in- law Bill Hryor, her 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Marg was affectionately known as Mom, Gramma, G.G. and loyal friend to all who were privileged to be a part of her life. She was a passionate reader and seamstress who loved classical music and her piano as well as equestrian riding. Her greatest accomplishments were her large family and the magnificent garden she grew for all to enjoy. Mom exuded strength and dignity through all of life’s challenges.
A Celebration of her life will take place in her garden on Saturday, September 5th, 2015 at 11:00am; 191 Lombard Drive in Upper Oasis. Cremation has taken place, Gwen Ziprick of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
