Santano: Margaret of Trail passed away on December 14, 2010. She was born in Sumas, WA on August 7, 1921.

Margaret was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She and her late husband, George, were garage sale enthusiasts, and they loved to travel. Margaret was an avid collector, especially for her beloved salt and pepper shakers. She volunteered for many years at the Daly Pavillion. Margaret was feisty and loved the colour blue.

Margaret is survived by her granddaughters Tara Bullanoff and Xan Santano, her daughter Harmony, grandson Burke Ganton, as well as numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband George Santano and her daughter Marlene Rice.

A celebration of Margaret’s life will follow at a later date. Bill Clark of Personal Alternative Funeral Services “Carberry’s Chapel” is entrusted with arrangements.
