Oct 24, 1959 - Nov 6, 2017
Margot passed away peacefully at Peace Arch Hospital with her husband Ebe at her side. She was a fighter with an unfailingly positive outlook. She made the most of each day, particularly in the last 6 months of her fight with cancer.

Margot is survived by her husband Ebe, her brothers Pat (Cecilia) and Mike (Denise), her nieces and nephew Caitlin, Rory, Colleen and Erin and Caitlin's daughter Jane. She was predeceased by her parents Cath and Brian Rennison and her sister in law Wendy.

She was a passionate, dedicated and well-loved teacher. Margot truly cared for her young primary students during a 33 year teaching career, primarily in the Surrey School District.

Margot had a real enthusiasm for life. She and Ebe enjoyed travelling, golfing, hiking and Christina Lake, but their real passion was skiing. They met and fell in love at Whistler and enjoyed many days skiing together and with friends at Whistler and Big White.

Margot's positive outlook, courage and enthusiasm were infectious and inspirational.

The family would like to thank the staff at Peace Arch Hospital for their support of Margot at various times during her life and especially over the last 6 months.

A celebration of Margot's life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on November 26 2017 at Valley View Funeral Home 14660 - 72nd Ave Surrey B.C.

The family encourages those who wish to remember Margot to make a donation to the Peace Arch Hospital Foundation in memory of Margot Jansen.
