Marilynne Schapansky peacefully passed away on May 18, 2016 at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. She was born on May 20, 1942 in Trail, BC. Marilynne was an avid Smoke Eaters fan, as well as a member of the Trail Ladies Legion Auxillary. She is survived by her children; Dale Spooner (Donna), Cindy Spooner, Owen Spooner (Dianne), grandchildren; Corinne, Christopher, Dakota, Naomi, Julie, Joe, Skye as well as great grand-children Julianna, Kate, Hannah, Shelby, Kendall and Charlie. Marilynne was predeceased by her husband of 30 years Wayne Schapansky, Parents Joe and Amy Owen, and great-grandson Jeno Fulop. Cremation has taken place, a celebration of life will take place on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #11, 2141 Columbia Ave, Trail, BC.
