Marion passed away surrounded by family on July 11, 2018 at Columbia View Lodge in Trail, B.C. at the age of 79.
She is survived by her family, three children; Larry (Lori), Richard (Kathy), and Tracy (Raymonde), sister, Jean (Darryl, "Tiger") Milburn, two brothers, Robert Douglas and Sandy (Ila) Douglas. She also leaves 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Marion grew up in Rossland, B.C. and joined the Air Force in 1957 where she met her husband, William Leroy (Roy) Roulston. Marion and Roy settled in Legal, Alberta for most of their married life. Marion was predeceased by her husband Roy, who died in 1979. Marion returned to Trail B.C. in 1989 where she worked at Columbia View Lodge (CVL) until her retirement in 2004. Marion entered CVL in 2009 after a stroke. Marion had many friends and many happy memories of her time at CVL.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caring staff at CVL for their exceptional care of Marion. Also, many thanks to Jean and Tiger Milburn for being Marion's family contact and support in B.C., making sure she was well cared for throughout her life.
A ceremony for Marion will occur in Edmonton, Alberta at a later date. Bill Clark of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
