Maxwell Thomas Spooner drove his T-Bird to heaven on July 10, 2018.

Max apprenticed at the Trail Daily Times as a pressman then worked from Baltimore Md. to Olympia Wa. & finished his career at the Vancouver Sun & Province in 1999. He was a proud Union member.

Cars & hockey were his passion. He did a frame off restoration on his ’56 T-Bird then 30 yrs. later traded it in for a ’65 Bird. He joined the Totem Thunderbird Club in 1987 & served as the Treasurer & Co-Editor of the Newsletter. He loved the Club & it’s comradery more.

Max is survived by his loving wife Nancy, sons Dale (Donna), Owen (Diane), daughters Cindy & Kimberly, many grandchildren & great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews, & mother-in-law Fausta.

Our grateful thanks go to his very special Dr.’s; Dr. Fisher & Baxter, along with Dr. Cochrane & Tucker & all the caring nursing staff at the hospital.

Max has unselfishly donated his body to medical research @ UBC so that others may learn & benefit. “I never graduated but now I’m going to University”.

Now cruisin’ the skies with Mr. Frank, Garry, & Glen. He will be sorely missed.
