Myron Stanley Dahl, age 86, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017 at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital.
He was born on the family farm to Emelia and Joseph Dahl on February 10, 1931 in Claresholm, Alberta. He was the eighth of ten children. Myron married Marie Lawson in 1956 in Lethbridge and they had three children. They moved to Trail, BC in 1966, and Myron worked at Cominco as a pipe fitter for 28 years.
He is predeceased by his wife, Marie; six of his siblings and his son-in-law, Gary Croft. He is survived by his son, Robert (Linda) Dahl of Trail, BC; daughter Elaine (Jack) LaRocque of Fruitvale, BC; daughter Colleen Croft of Raymond, Alberta; 12 grandchildren- Emelia Nilsson, Diane Langman, Angela Grant, Caroline Cassar, Adam Croft, David Dahl, Alicia Sansome, Kathleen LaRocque, Brian Croft, Aaron LaRocque, Larissa Zsule,and Charisse Croft; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Laburnum Drive in Trail. Jordan Wren of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
