The family of Nolan Ivar Olson sadly announce his passing on August 7, 2016 in Trail, BC. Nolan was born on December 8, 1990 in Victoria, BC, and is gone way before his time.
Nolan graduated as a UXO (Bomb Disposal) Technician at the University of Fredericton, NB in December of 2009 and worked at multiple locations across Canada. He achieved the qualification of UXO Tech Supervisor prior to his departure.
Nolan loved everything outdoors, all seasons, hunting, fishing and everything camo! He was extremely proud of his Norse roots and the enormity of his heart and mighty strength was only surpassed by the gentleness of his soul. He was greatly loved and will be sorely missed
He is survived by parents; Maureen (Howard) Miller and Stormr (Amelia) Olson, as well as brother Noah.
Nolan was predeceased by grandfather Thomas Bergen, and grandmother Jaqueline Harrod-Olsen.
A Celebration of Nolan’s Life will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 2:00 pm at “Carberry’s Chapel,” 1298 Pine Ave, Trail BC with celebrant Elizabeth Berglund. Alexandra Butts of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
