May 25, 1925 – January 10, 2014

With great sorrow we announce the passing of Norman. Norm was born in Regina, Saskatchewan to Earnest and Florence Wyatt. Norm was raised at the Wyatt homestead in St. Cyr Lake, Saskatchewan along with his two brothers and two sisters. Norm joined the army in April 1944, where he served as a battlefield medic. Norm assisted in the liberation of Holland. He was invited back to Holland fifty years later as a guest. Norm also was a member of the Legion for over 40 years. He was a carpenter, and loved to horseback ride, camp, build, do plastic canvas needle work, dance and sing to karaoke. Norm loved life itself, and lived it to the fullest. Norm was predeceased by his parents, Earnest and Florence, his brother Allister, brother Kenneth, and his son Lawrence. Norm is survived by his Harold, sisters Lynn Fradette, and Glenna Stark, sons Lenard (Kathleen), Randy (Lenora). Daughters Debbie Vickers (Jim), Linda Wyatt (AL), Norma Wyatt (Dwayne) nephews, nieces, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Norman, you will be greatly missed by your friends and family. Norm’s family would like to thank all the medical staff who assisted in his care the last few months. A memorial service will be held at the Salmo Legion Hall Saturday January 25, 2014 at 10:30 am.
