Paul Kendrew Fox passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Victoria, BC on April 6, 1955 to his parents, the late George (Bill) & Elin (Alfie) Fox.

He is survived by his wife and the love of his life, Anne, with whom he recently celebrated 40 years of marriage.

Also left to miss him are his son Kent (Chelle), daughter Meagan, siblings: Roger (Shirley), and Wendy (Dave) Rayner, In laws: George & Joan Steeves and sister-in law Lynn (Larry), Aunts: Estrid, Anita, June, Kay and Uncle Kurt as well as many nieces & nephews who will miss their Uncle Paul. 

Paul graduated from Crowe High School in Trail, BC and joined the 44th Field Engineers Squadron. It was here he met his future wife, Anne. In 1975, he joined the RCMP and became a dog master and over the years he trained and worked with many dogs, all of which became family members.

He and Anne lived in many places, including Port Hardy, Kimberly, Sointula Island, Port McNeil, Langley and Kamloops. His last posting was in Richmond where he retired after 37 years of service.

He and Anne relocated to Westbank where he became involved with the training of dogs for Audeamus, a training program providing companion dogs to survivors of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

He was a 24-year member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 288 Westbank. They also loved to travel. Some of their favourite places were; St. Maartens, Hawaii and Jamaica, plus any cruise ships sailing. Paul was also an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed many hunting trips with his closest friends.

Many thanks go to Dr. Gerhard Verster, the nurses and aides from Interior Health who were instrumental in keeping Paul at home.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on January 13, 2018 at 2 pm at the Westbank Lions Community Hall (2466 Main Street) in Westbank, BC.
