Keane: Ray a life long resident of Rossland, BC passed away at Columbia View Lodge on October 20, 2010. He was born October 23, 1926 in Rossland.
Ray was a long time member of the Rossland Knights of Columbus #1588, the Rossland Eagles, and the Rossland Royal Canadian Legion. He also sat on the committee for Rossland’s Museum.
Ray is survived by his two brothers Brendan and Fintin (Donna), two sisters Marjorie (Jack) and Eilleen, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Brian and sister Bridie.
Vigil service will be held on Monday, October 25, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rossland. The Mass of Christian Burial will held on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Father Marcel Cote as celebrant. Burial to follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Al Grywacheski of Personal Alternative Funeral Services “Carberry’s Chapel” is entrusted with arrangements.
