He is predeceased by his grandparents.
He is survived by his father, Denis Merlo, his mother, Frances (Ben) Clum, siblings Alex and Steven (Raema), step-siblings Carly (Travis), Jenna (Dag), Jennifer (Ben) Arril and Michael (Julia) Clum.
Richard loved his family and friends and was especially good with kids- he was Uncle Richard to all of the kids. He loved music and was amazing at rapping.
He will be forever in our hearts.
A Celebration of Dickie's Life will be held on Monday, December 4th, 2017 at 1:00pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #14, Trail.
