Teresa Iolanda Accardo was born on December 16, 1988 in Vancouver, BC, passed away tragically on December 16, 2016 in Trail.
Teresa was an amazing person who was loved by so many. She adored her family and friends and had an amazing way with children and animals.
She is survived by her boyfriend Erik Laithwaite and kitty Calvin, her mother Tanya Handley (Brian Koshey), her father Angelo Accardo (Candy Pianezzola), sister Alana (Aaron) Cromarty, grandmother Valarie Handley, in-laws Nancy & Ted Laithwaite, Lyndsay & Paul Guglielmin & boys, aunts and uncles Larry & Sherry Handley (cousin Jason), Allan & Sonia Handley, Roger and Natalie Handley (cousins Amy, Dustin & Timmy), Mary Maio (cousins Emilio & Michael), Enzo (cousin Amanda), Roger (cousins Andrea, Lisa, Erin & Steven), Joanne & John Egan (cousin Derek) & many nieces and nephews. Teresa was predeceased by cousins Nolan and Matthew Handley, and grandparents; Frank and Iolanda Accardo, Frank Handley and great-grandpa McDonald.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 22nd, 2016 at 11:00am, Trail United Church with Liz Berglund officiating. Bill Clark of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
