November 11, 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Maynard Haw on Remembrance Day November 11, 2018 at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital at the age of 64.

Left to mourn and cherish his memory, are his wife of 44 years Jackie, his daughter Pam (D'Arcy) and son Ross (Marisa) and grandchildren Emma, Megan, Ernyk and Liam as well as sister Dale and brother Wayne (Ava). He also leaves a huge extended family of nieces and nephews as well as Jane and her family.

Born in Rossland, BC Terry grew up in Warfield attending Webster School and JL Crowe to then start up the hill at Teck Cominco where he worked for 40 years in the Lead Refinery. At the age of 58, he was forced to take an early retirement because of health issues. Terry loved the outdoors including hunting, fishing, golfing, camping, berry picking and his eyes would light up when he saw a good tree for wood.

A special thanks goes out to the Oncology, Homecare and Hospital Nurses and to the many doctors and other health care providers that were involved in Terry's care.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Trail Royal Canadian Legion Branch #11 on Monday, November 19th at 1 pm. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.

As an expression of sympathy, donations in Terry's name may be made to the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital Foundation at 1200 Hospital Bench, Trail, BC, V1R 4M1 or online at www.kbrhhealthfoundation.ca.

You are invited to leave a personal message of condolence at the family's online register at www.myalternatives.ca.
