Tony Blake “Mac” Mac Alpine

May 7, 1949 – Nov 3, 2017
It is with profound sadness that I announce the passing of my father, Tony (Mac) Blake Mac Alpine, May 7, 1949 – November 3, 2017, following a lengthy illness.

He resided in Lumby, B.C., for the past several years, was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion there and also in Castlegar. He was an honoured member in Lumby.

His interests included the history of the Legion and all history of World Wars plus exploring the Mac Alpine family origins. He made a few trips to Scotland as his roots were there. He enjoyed throwing darts, travelling, and singing with his friends in Lumby.

He is survived by his only daughter, Melanie Katherine (Ryan), his sisters, Dawn and daughter Angie and children, Connie (Jim) and daughters and children, brother Alfred (Sonny). Also many good friends in Lumby and throughout B.C., Alberta, and Canada.

He was predeceased by his parents Alfred (Mac) and Mary Mac Alpine, brother-in-law Terry, and nephew Terry. There will be no service and cremation has taken place.

May he rest in peace, I love you dad.
