Was born on March 27, 1960 in Toronto, Ontario and passed away suddenly in Rossland, BC on Monday, March 10th 2014 at the age of 53.
Wendy is predeceased by her son Shayne Cameron Atherley Johre 1988-2006.
She is survived by her parents, Bob and Janet Atherley, siblings Vicki Atherley, Rick & Arlene Atherley and Julie & Darren Drew, her children Austan Tait, Nathan & Alex Johre, grandson Jackson Tait, nieces Courtney & Kelsey Atherley, Tesa & Emma Drew, and nephews Brandon and Jacob Atherley.
Wendy was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend to many. Her free spirit, unconditional loyalty and caring, compassionate nature will be greatly missed by everyone that loved her.
A Memorial Service will be held in Carberry’s Chapel; 1298 Pine Avenue, Trail on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 10:30am. Gwen Ziprick of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
