Area B director vital in dust program

Trail mayor appreciates efforts of RDKB Area B director to arrange additional street washing in Rivervale.

The Trail Daily Times, August 19, 2014 article “Rivervale — Dust suppression program expands” neglected to mention the participation of Trail Area Health & Environment Committee (THEC) member, Linda Worey, RDKB Director for Area B who represents the residents of Rivervale.

Director Worley worked with Mark Tinholt, Superintendent of Environmental Remediation at Teck Trail Operations to arrange the additional street washing. Director Worley is very pleased about this new service, noting that it aligns with the THEC mission to promote a healthy environment and the health of residents within the THEC’s program area.
