I clipped and kept a photo that was in last Wednesday’s issue of the Trail Times (Sept. 24): it was of children walking across the Victoria Street bridge.
Being of a bright sort, I noticed that they didn’t have to swim or build a raft to cross the river.
And I wondered if any one could remind me: why do we need to spend a few million dollars to build another bridge? It certainly can’t be to help us get from one side of the river to the other - we’re obviously quite able to do that now.
