Each year the Rocky Mountain big horn sheep get some winter nourishment courtesy of the West Kootenay Big Game Trophy Association, which delivers about 4,000 pounds of sheep feed to the feeding station on the Salmo-Creston Pass. The weekend’s feeding frenzy not only attracted the big sheep but some hungry deer as well.
