Downtown Trail window display honours local veterans

Ye Olde Flower Shoppe in downtown Trail is honouring local veterans in its window displays this week.

As Remembrance Day draws near, a walk down Spokane Street is especially poignant this week as Ye Olde Flower Shoppe honours local veterans in window displays that include uniforms worn during the Second World War. One display highlights the local woman who served in WWll and the other spotlights Air Gunner Frank Fertich. Mr Fertich’s inspiring story will be featured in the Thursday edition of the Trail Times.
