Trail Smoke Eaters and BV Nitehawks wow crowd in head-to-head dance competition

Trail Smoke Eaters versus BV Nitehawks, who has the best dance moves?

Steps Dance Company rounded up local hockey teams for a crowd-pleasing dance off Saturday at the Waneta Plaza in Trail.

Steps Dance Company and Got Juiced hosted a fundraiser for the dancers’ upcoming trip to California and for the AkuaPuali Homestead Society. Led by members of the dance troupe, the event highlighted the off-ice fancy footwork of the Trail Smoke Eaters and the Beaver Valley Nitehawks. While both teams had some impressive moves, crowd consensus was that the Smokies were the clear victors, and Ryan Swanson, the MVP.
