Beaver Valley doubles up Nelson Leafs

The Beaver Valley Nitehawks skated to a 4-2 victory over the Nelson Leafs at the Hawks Nest on Wednesday to take a 2-0 series lead.

Former Nelson Leaf Nolan Percival scored the winning goal for the Beaver Valley Nitehawks on Wednesday night as the Hawks skated to a 4-2 victory to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven Neil Murdoch division semi-final series.

The Hawks now travel to Nelson on Friday and Saturday for Games 3 and 4 at the Nelson and District Community Complex. Game times are at 7 p.m.
