TCHL drops the puck

The Trail Commercial Hockey League (TCHL) will drop the puck on its 2015-16 season tonight at the Cominco Arena.

The Trail Commercial Hockey League (TCHL) will drop the puck on its 2015-16 season tonight at the Cominco Arena.

TCHL action starts with 2015 regular season champion ReMax taking on Gericks at 7:15 p.m. and 2015 playoff champion Allstar facing off against OK Tire at 8:30 p.m.

The Arlington, with last season’s top scorer in Pat Iannone and first overall draft pick Joey Baker, rounds out the five-team league and hits the ice Sunday for its opening match against Allstar at 3:30 p.m.

The TCHL plays Thursdays and Sundays and admission to the games is free.
