Getting an invitation to a royal wedding is probably easier than nabbing a ticket to the perpetually sold-out San Martino Cabaret. The club celebrates all things Italian, but to be a member, one’s ancestry must come from San Martino al Tagliamento in the province of Pordenone, Italy. Saturday marked the 42nd year for the annual event, which saw 400 party-goers populate the Cominco Gym for an evening of socializing, a multi-course dinner and dancing.The club gave out donations of $750 each to the KBRH Foundation and Sanctuary, a pre-teen drop-in centre in Trail. The San Martino Club also provides two scholarships each year in support of local youths.
