On Saturday dozens of young Highland dancers kicked it up in the Kate E. Shaw Memorial Highland dance competition at the Memorial Centre Gymnasium. The event, in memory of Kate E. Shaw, who dedicated her life to highland dancing, attracted dancers from across the region to Greater Trail. Meanwhile, 15-year-old Taylor Jacques relaxes to her Ipod music in preparation for her event.
