David Dudeck shares a few photos taken near the Trail airport just before Easter.

“It was a beautiful, if chilly morning to enjoy a walk along the river,” he notes. “On the river I saw these Goldeneyes who indeed lived up to their names in the sunshine.”

Along the trail he also spotted what appears to be a female western bluebird.
